Paris Guide: Restaurants, cafe’s and hotels | Photo locations with the Eiffel Tower view

Updated November 14, 2024

There is no place like Paree, right? Long, romantic walks along The Seine, sipping cocktails with the Eiffel Tower view. Many people don’t like Paris, they say it’s overrated, too busy, too dirty and too expensive. I love Paris and all its flaws, I thinks it’s beautiful and so romantic.

But all opinions aside, here’s my little to Paris girls trip itinerary, where we drink overpriced coffees and take cute photos.

Restaurants and Cafes

Forest

What a gem! I had no idea this place existed until we found ourselves starving, but really wanted to wait for the Eiffel Tower to sparkle and THIS IS THE PLACE where you can eat posh but really delicious food with the Eiffel Tower view. It’s located in the Musée d’Art Moderne (which by the way is definitely worth a visit!)

Lou Cantou

Another fabulous place, also found by accident (Accident = all restaurants were full and we were starving). Authentic, french cuisine and lovely, cosy atmosphere.

Le Café Marly

Very popular and loved by celebrities and influencers restaurant, definitely overpriced however the views are worth every penny. Can’t complain about the food either!

Seamer Coffee Shop

All you see is an aesthetic cafe, all I can remember is how this coffee was the most amazing thing that happened to me that day.

Sevenly Heart

Long queues and for what? I was pretty annoyed because again, I was hAngry and so I just hoped that standing in the queue for 30mins would be worth it. AND IT TOTALLY WAS. Coffee was amazing, the whole vibe of this place was amazing but one thing I will remember till the day I die, is the cheesecake.

Carette

This is a must-do experience in Paris. Hot chocolate served with whipped cream + some pastries – I promise it’s worth the wait in (usually massive) queues.

Buddy Buddy

One of those ”cool” places, where locals and tourists actually hang out. The whole concept of Buddy Buddy is nut butter. This is the main ingredient they add to their coffees and pastries. They also have this little store at the cafe, where you can buy Buddy Buddy merch and of course their signature peanut butter – I did, and I love it.

Hotels

Hotel de Banville

**** | €168 average per night

Imagine waking up in the morning with the Eiffel Tower view, I mean… wow. Best part is that we had no idea we will get such room when booking Hotel de Banville. It’s clean, aesthetic and quiet, the staff is very helpful – I would stay there again.

25hours Hotel Paris Terminus Nord

**** | €185 average per night

Eclectic, cosy, comfortable and spacious rooms. If you (like us) travel to Paris by train, this hotel is just steps away from Paris Terminus Nord which made our journey less stressful. Also loved our balcony with a view!

Hôtel Doisy Etoile – Orso Hotels

**** | €283 average per night

Boutique hotel located 10min walk from Arc de triomphe, super cosy with amazing breakfast and easy access to public transport.
