Three days in Crete at Momi Slow Living, and it felt like someone gently pressed pause on the chaos of everyday life. From the very first step inside, the space envelops you in a sense of serenity and effortless beauty. The architecture? Straight out of a dream — think Pinterest, but stripped of the clichés and infused with soul.
It was our first-ever all-inclusive escape. And while I used to quietly question the appeal of that kind of holiday… once you hit your thirties, the idea of unapologetically doing nothing becomes wildly appealing.

The entire property is like a living moodboard — rooted in Cretan tradition but reimagined through a modern, thoughtful lens. Whitewashed walls, organic curves, raw stone, warm wood, soft linen. Minimalist interiors, yet anything but cold. Every detail feels handpicked with intention — as if chosen by instinct, not by design trends.
Our suite, complete with a private pool, was the embodiment of quiet luxury. From the terrace, the view served as a gentle reminder: beauty doesn’t need embellishment. Mornings carried the scent of strong coffee and sun-warmed air; evenings were laced with a kind of stillness that made space for your thoughts to catch up with you. Golden light, a soft breeze, and that rare, grounding silence.

Momi’s all-inclusive concept defies convention — it’s not about excess, but essence. Every meal was a masterclass in simplicity done right: heirloom tomatoes bursting with flavor, feta so creamy it could be mistaken for dessert, olive oil that tasted like sunshine and herbs. Everything plated with intention, served with soul.
Days slipped by in a blur of spa rituals, poolside reads, and sunset yoga. Evenings brought cinema under the stars or slow, wine-fueled conversations on the terrace, wrapped in the warmth of the day that lingered long after the sun dipped below the horizon.
